This month at Zapiens, we’ve improved the upload of new users from the administration area.

If you want to create new users for your organization, you can do it manually or through an Excel file.

If you choose the option to upload an Excel file, you can download the Zapiens template to create or update contacts.


Improvements included
  • Users that didn’t exist in Zapiens, but have been included in the new Excel, will be created as new users of your organization.
  • Users who were already in your organization, but have different information in the Excel, for example: if they have changed to another department, will be updated automatically.
  • Cells that remain blank, will not be updated in Zapiens.

With this new update, loading users from the administration area is much easier.

During the process you will be able to see the errors detected, the time it takes us to do the update and its results.

User upload in Zapiens step by step

Once in the «Users» menu, you will find the option to upload through the Excel file ud with an arrow pointing upwards).

In the pop-up window «What do you want to do», download our Excel template. Once completed, import it.

Zapiens gives you 2 options to notify new users: you can do it immediately or choose a specific date to send the notification mail.

Click on the «Confirm and Import» button to start loading the Excel file automatically.

You will see in the screen the remaining time and the number of users loaded.

Once the upload is complete, all that’s left is that you accept.
